Megan Rogers was the MVP of her elementary school’s Reading Olympics team. She read an entire book on the bus ride to the competition, where teams were quizzed on plot details.
It was her finest athletic achievement.
Now, she’s a retired Reading Olympian (though still an avid reader) and a humor and fiction writer.
Megan also writes middle grade fiction. She’s a SCBWI member and takes writing classes at The Writing Barn, Gotham Writers Workshop, and elsewhere. In 2021, she placed second in the middle grade category in the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Association’s literary contest.
Would it surprise you to learn she also writes professionally? She’s a HR Copywriter and creates process docs, playbooks, and training guides for People teams. Learn more here.
When she’s not writing or reading, Megan takes her tiny dog on long walks in New England.
